Anyway, hard to say how it would be, when I have no fur of my own... not that I'd really look forward to even having any, would be a pain to take a shower when you need half an hour or so just to dry yourself up (on that note, I'd assume plumbers being a fairly valued line of work in a modern society with furred people, due to all the clogged up pipes)

absolutely right. there would be either technology to help with cleaning and drying fur and clogged pipes, or very short fur which doesn't get shed during seasons. come to think of it, more the latter probably. we humans lost our fur when we started to walk upright, too. so any animal evolving might do it, too.

Hmm, I suppose... though in my story there are hormonal supression injections/pills/something that allows them to constantly stay in the winter-/summer-lenght, which also removes the nasty(to some) side-effect of the seasonal cycle commonly known as "heat", as there's no transition between the stages of the cycle ^^ Of course, hormonal treatment like that isn't very good for anyone adolescent, so most end up having atleast one heat... not that it really matters as that has no significance in my story XD

but then again it would make for a neat theme for a short story. even better if you could keep it PG-13. :)

a PG-13 short story about the sexual cycle... yeah, somehow I don't see that happening XD and anyway, I'll probably make a small mention to it in the story. maybe. it's not really plot-relevant in any way, it's just one of the details I've made up in case they need to be used somewhere ^^

such little details put into it like a sidenote can flesh out a story, and even better, an universe, greatly.

Na was ist denn der Hauptfaktor, warum Tiere Pelz haben? ... Die Wärmewirkung. Pelzige Hände können durch das Fell nicht kalt werden XD Nenn mir doch mal eine Person, die in einem Fursuit gefroren haben will XD

du kannst einen fursuit nicht mit gewachsenem fell vergleichen. was denkst du, warum die sich alle zu tode schwitzen darin? weil der menschliche körper auf eine gewisse wärmeabfuhr angewiesen ist. außerdem kommen die kalten hände der frauen durch ihre hormone, die zu durchblutungsstörungen in den extremitäten kommen. schaus ruhig nach...
kann natürlich sein, daß es bei anthro-tieren anders ist, wenn aber nicht, haben fuchsige frauen genau so kalte hände und füße wie menschliche. am fell liegts aber gewiß nicht. selbst pferde können kalte nasen haben...

Ja gut, das kann ich nachvollziehen - aaaaaaaber: Selbst wenn es ihre Hände schaffen, kalt zu sein - das Brustfell wäre dick genug, dass man die Kälte dadurch nicht so erleben würde :b

das ist richtig. außer, es gibt dünne stellen. wie, um die nippel herum, zum beispiel. :) oder sie schafft es durch das fell auf die warme haut. :)
