This could be a lot better. I kept tweaking it, and there are some things I really don't like about it. But it was a pretty good learning exercise in terms of layering color, and walking away from art for a while then tweaking it.

A British show (about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost rooming together) has an explanation for that. In order to actually change shape, every major organ in the werewolf's body has to fail simultaneously and then restart in its new form, and that's why most werewolves are such a mess, personality-wise.
