Hey, next to a real artists job as compared to drawing for furry fans, the fandom is kinda sadly like that. It just works out better for most people to work and focus on working in a professional artists job as compared to being a popular artist in the furry fandom... assuming you ARE popular.

Also, for most people? This fandom is SUPPOSED to be a hobby. Isn't it so for you too?

It's a hobby for me and the internet has made it a lot easier than when it was still photocopies and standing in the line at the PO to mail the artwork to the fanbase. So the feedback, critiques, and art trades are so much faster. I think some of the accomplished artists post here to share some of their fun and absurd works to a appriecative audience.
