There really are Ferdinand-like bulls! A friend has one on their ranch. He will walk up to you, nuzzle you, and push his huge head into your hand, which is his way of asking you to scratch him behind the ears. He enjoys being petted, and sighs with pleasure. He weighs over a ton! This friendly behavior is controlled by a single gene.
