I think the beige gives the eyes a warmer look myself, and helps blend them into the surrounding brown facial fur. It would also help accent the antlers, assuming a similar colour.

Depending on how much more beige there is going to be on any other body parts if any? I'd say white if it's just the head, it matches and looks cleaner.

Beige if you have the eye marking that large, and white if you're willing to make it a bit smaller. White is far more contrasting, and having it more low-contrast gives it less of an in-your-face, staring look. (Or have a white rim around the eye that fades to beige, and then blends in with the darker brown at the outer edges.) Some examples:

I'd say beige ONLY if you're going to add beige accents to other parts ( hands / feet / tail, not specifically the head itself ). It may draw too much attention to itself if it's the only beige on the costume.
