This is the first lightsaber that I've pieced together myself. :) I went to Disneyland to celebrate my birthday for the first time there (most magical birthday ever!), and while there, I did something that I always wanted to do: I built my own lightsaber! :) See, in the Star Trader shop, located in Tomorrowland, there's a station where you can make your own custom lightsaber from a variety of different pieces, or even build your favorite Jedi or Sith's lightsaber! How much one will cost you depends on if you want go single or double bladed. I decided to go for a single bladed for my first custom one because I always imagined that mine would be single bladed, and because the double bladed ones cost a lot more (plus my sister was paying for it for me as my birthday gift, and I didn't want her to spend a lot of money on me). So here it is! :) I removed the extendable blade from it for this picture to make it look a bit more realistic, but you can see that I chose a purple blade for mine. :)
I won't lie, I had a hard time figuring out how to put this thing together. I looked like a caveman trying to figure out how to use a laptop XD. I felt pretty silly, which I think a cast member picked up on, since she came over and helped show me how to get the pieces to fit together. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I did, I began testing out how different pieces looked together, and after 10 or 20 minutes of mixing and matching, this is the result I found myself with. Something about it just seemed right to me, you know? :) I'm hoping to make another one the next time I go to Disneyland. It's actually a lot of fun putting these together. :)
If anyone likes mine so much that they want to make one of their own, let me know and I'll take a picture showing the individual pieces that I used. :)

Thank you! :) As you might guess, it's pretty expensive to go to Disneyland, so it may be a while before I'm able to make a new custom one, but if you like lightsabers, I do have some of the Hasbro ones. :) I can post pictures of some of those if you'd like. :)
