The more awesome and actually decent Sefra piloting his own custom mini-mech skech. XD
Basically, this is my attempt to design a Lagann Model for Sefra to pilot.
This was all done as part of a vorish furry "spin-off" idea that came to me a while back while watching Gurren Lagann, which was recently rekindled when the show started airing again. And thanks to the Beastmen, the ground is actually already set for just such a furry spin-off.
Then that thing to the left? That's my little "how it works" flowchart for Combining.
Here's the jist of things, the big mechs (the Gurren Types from the previous image) for my little concept series are basically useless on their own. They're just big empty mechas. It's the little guys that the real magic happens with... the mini-mechs (Lagann Types) are Power Cores to the big ones. Though perfectly capable of fighting well on their own, a mini-mech inserted into one of the big mechs is transformed both into the power source and cockpit of the big mech. Once powered up by a mini-mech, the big guys are ready to play and can deal monster damage.
But maybe just one mini isn't enough....
This is where both Combining and the vorish aspect comes into play. The Active Big-Mecha is now what you would consider the Pred Type Machine; while the smaller ones would be designated as your Prey Type Machine.
Remember how the larger mecha has a giant mouth on it's front? Hee hee.... X3
This is how Combining works, and you can follow along using the flowchart on the left side. For convenience in understanding, the diagram is meant to show the mid-section of one of the larger mechas as viewed from a side angle. The circles represent a mini-mech, while the letters both distinguish between mechs AND represent the pilot.
(1) Starting from a normal position, an active Pred is powered by Prey A. Prey A operates as the cockpit for the Pred. Prey B initiates a combination by leaping towards the Pred's "Maw" while compacting itself into a ball-like shape.
(2) The "maw" of the Pred opens to take in Prey B; meanwhile, the original Prey A cockpit is launched upwards.
(3) Prey B is devoured by the Pred and the "maw" resecures itself into a closed position. Prey B is now locked in as the new primary cockpit. Prey A exits the body through the roof of the Pred and takes on the shape of the machine's head.
(4) As new power begins to siphon into the Pred from Prey B, the Pred begins transformation into a whole new shape. Meanwhile, a chute opens to connect the cockpits of Prey A to Prey B, allowing the pilot of Prey A to slip down the chute and into the new cockpit in Prey B.
(5) The transformation into a Superior Predator (Gurren Lagann Type) is complete! The chute connecting the two cockpits has closed. The pilot of Prey A, having devoured the pilot of Prey B after his decent into the new cockpit, now pilots the Pred from the cockpit of Prey B(Hence why the B is shown here as being inside of the A). Now powered by two Prey types, the Superior Predator is anywhere from 2 to 3 times as powerful as it was before... and depending upon the pilots and types of Prey machine, maybe even stronger than that!

*snickers* probably depends upon the size of the Pred type mecha and the size of the Pred pilot's appetite. XD
but yeah, feasibly could be more than one, especially with bigger mechas. Still has to be some limit though, since the pilot still needs to be able to move enough to drive the thing XD
