I like the shading!
How did you get it to be so smooth?

It's nothing special just the simple blur tool in the program I use, Clip Studio Paint.

Mhmm ok, I use Sai and I have always had trouble with the blur tools they have in the program...

Well if you are interested Clip goes up for sale at around $15 every once in a while.

Ooo I might have to look into that. Are there anythings that Clip does really well? Like what are the strengths to the program?

Clip used to be called Manga studio which means a lot of the recent Manga out there were created using this program. I've heard it described as a fusion between Photoshop and Sai. It basically does everything Photoshop does, but is way better with linework due to it having both vector and raster layers. I typically do my linework on vector layers and use the vector eraser to get rid of the overlapping lines, it's a lot easier than cleaning up lines with a regular eraser. They also added animation recently and being able to animate using photoshop like tools is a godsend when compared to flash, though if you want unrestricted animation it will cost $90 during a sale. It also has 3D references like an adjustable character, a classroom, as well as other things you'd see in a manga.

The only downside is that some things aren't as straight forward as they were in Photoshop. I've had to look through some of the menus to find the some of the correction layers and other options. Other than that it's pretty flawless and a step up when compared to Photoshop.
