Not much to look at the past few days, so I haven't taken many pics. I'm sewing velcro to the inside of the leg fur to hold the pillows in place.
This is done entirely from the inside, ducking the needle through the backing for a little bit and then out through the velcro tape.
If I did this again I'd use larget velcro strips so alignment is less critical!

It may work but it makes things kinda lumpy and stiff. The velcro backing is plasticy and not that porous, so it may not stick to that--when I've had trouble with it it has been on smoother plastic surfaces.
I'd never use it for seams on a high-stress thing like bodysuit seams (from my reading it isn't considered strong enough for that) but there's not a lot of stress on these strips.
Honestly, I haven't tried it so I could be making work for myself!
