Nuka is such an underrated TLK character - almost as crush-worthy as Kovu in my eyes. He is however all skin and bones, which will not do in the face of an edible lion! So Daxter simply let himsepf be eaten up by the crazy lion, who seems to be enjoying a moment of glory and calories!
