Girls of SGP: Maid Collie of the Welch Border

An element of my characters’ universe that I maybe haven’t made clear is that while markings are common, asymmetrical markings are considered to be as bizarre or unsettling as if it were a birthmark on a human. So when Collie is betrothed to Lord Hound of kol B’Sedek, it is legitimate disgust he expresses both from being betrothed at the age when girls are made of cooties and from being betrothed to such an ugly girl… which of course turns into genuine admiration after she turns the tables and outsmarts him.

Too bad “Happily Ever After” so early on is so boring! =|
