How to Play: Read the comic and then choose in the strawpoll link below what Tanya should do next.
Make sure to pay attention to Tanya's Stats. Charm determines how easily Tanya can sway others and cause them to do her bidding through seduction or other means. Stomach shows how hungry she is. If her meter gets too low, the quest may be railroaded, or Tanya doing something opposite of what the majority of people voted for. Vigor is vital for Tanya to do certain tasks that may require more effort than normal. Vigor can be seen as a combination of energy and mood.
There are also Current Sounds to keep in mind. Tanya is a rabbit with large ears! This means she uses her hearing almost constantly to remain aware of her surroundings. Current sounds can give a hint as to whether you should be careful in a specific situation or can do activities freely.
I'm looking for a lot of participation with this quest, so please chip in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Nah, I think it's risky as anything and could put us in a real bad position. :B Both cause we're at the mercy of someone else and cause we'll be in a gut with Kuva who doesn't have the best history with us.
But still, either that or collapsing along the way/once we get there.

Well, I must admire that I want to see some, sure. But, it could be a great benefit for us + if Java wanted, she could gulp us forcefully milions of times.
We were looking directly at her eyes, even now. If she wanted, she could easily paralyse us by now and force us in, which she didn't.
I think there is no need to be worried.

I think most of whay I said before is still applicable, so I'll just repeat myself a bit.
Since Tanya is probably going to take another big hit on to CHARM points, she may as well try to use them now, while she's still got some. Java says Tanya has been misled, but there are so many things about Jabaro that don't make sense. How could he be an assassin when he's straight up terrified of his target? Before you go in, ask Java to consider one thing: that perhaps she has been misled as well. It wasn't Jabaro who nearly set her on fire, after all, and his desire to join Kuva's tribe seems quite earnest.
Tanya also needs to be ready to deal with Kuva. She probably won't be happy in the tight quarters of Java's gut and it's only going to get tighter when Tanya moves in. Whatever happens, Just don't kill her, okay Tanya? She's got a family to take care of--children--even if she is insufferably irritating. The reason you're out here in the first place is because you wanted to help find one. I know you remember what family is like, otherwise you wouldn't be looking for a new tribe to take you in. Who knows? After all this it might even be the cheetahs? Stranger things have happened.
Also this is a perfect opportunity for a clever quip. Could be something like, "You'll probably smell better than Kuva did," or "Well at least you asked politely... unlike someone else I know." (Tanya poke's Java belly for added emphasis.)
Or Tanya could break the fourth wall a little? "Sure, I never use my Charm points anyway."

As someone who likes vore, sure, it would be cool to see Java eat Tanya.
The vote is quite a landslide because of this, and it is not surprising.
HOWEVER, you guys really should consider outcomes. Consider the idea that Java could be around for a while, villain or not... Also consider that jumping into a vore scene could end up KILLING Java.
Think about it... If Java IS a villain, and she eats Tanya, that puts Tanya in DANGER. If the main character is in danger, the story will twist so that the hero gets away.. BUT in order for that to happen, the predator that ate her might have to die or get cut open.
I personally want to see Java get to claim someone, whether she or they are good or bad. She is a cool looking character. Maybe I am biased towards reptile chicks tho...
If I were Tanya, I would say, "I think it would be best if we took a little more time to learn to trust each other. Your curiosity in this matter matches my own, and we all might be able to help each other, but I've already spent too long in a belly earlier today." This is why I voted to politely refuse.
You guys are LUCKY that Fidchell is writing this comic and not me (partially because I am slow as fuck), because choices like these would lead to GAME OVER real quick. >: D

To be perfectly honest, don't trust her entirely... but you do have to consider that she proven she can hypnotise or knock people unconscious without putting in any effort with Jabaro.
So her being polite to offer us a ride just seems rather pointless to do since she could've done the eye trick by now and gotten it over with.
Hell, if I was writing a character who can do the eye trick I would have them do it already and not be all James Bond villain about it.

Ah, how sad, Java is no snake but a naga. There goes my positive position towards her.
If java hunts like Kaa this is just a normal way to lure more prey, in that case Tanya, into her gullet. Also she doens´t look friendly in any way. Refusing the weapon is also a sign of mistrust towards Tanya while at the same second claiming trust from her. I vote for walking.
Oh and be nice and remove the dagger at least.

Let's put Java at ease by saying, "I actually wasn't planning on using my knife on you. I was going to use it on her" *poke Java's belly* "in case she tried to eat me.....again."
And then we make a request that's going to require a lot of trust. We say, "Alright, I'll go in your belly. But! Only on one condition: If she" *poke Java's belly* "has eaten me by the time you let her out, could you please make her spit me out? She's already eaten me once and I don't think I'll be lucky enough to be able to ask her to spit me out like I did last time."

Let Java eat you but warn her that if Kuva wakes up their is a chance that their will be a fight in there plus Tanya is getting hungry so a small chance she might eat Kuva if they are in their for to long.
Lastly ask how did she knows she released the snake and if its some sort of thing where she can see through the eyes of another then ask if she knows what's happening over by Jabaro.

Well we have GAZELLE HORNS, BELT W/POUCHES & POISON DARTS W/SACK If we keep those items hidden and take them with, Tanya will have 2 tools to help escape the snake lady if things go bad. Also I noticed the last frame of previous page and first frame of this page the belly was wiggling as the prey struggled, but now the wiggling has stopped by the last frame and has no sounds. Although Tanya does not hear the belly digesting, its possible that it might not have air. Sure Java said it does not digest which could be true but what if the first stomach just crushes and squeezes the meal into the lower belly like a crop? The reason Java is not using eye trick or being forceful is she is in a hurry from the assassin, getting into a struggle or wasting time to use eye trick could cost her. A quick willing meal is her best option right now anyway. Also consider this, Java is curious of Tanya and wants to learn more about her so Tanya could be safe. Getting swallowed by Java now is best option, its safe enough to see if she can be trusted. Tanya has enough VIGOR left to use GAZELLE HORNS as a dagger if things go wrong. If we refuse to get eaten now we would be out of VIGOR and Java could take the SACK & BELT items away later if Tanya waits. If we reach Java's place of hiding without building trust, Java could easy overpower Tanya there, or use eye trick being able to take Tanya's stuff away. Right now Java can't carry all of Tanya's belt stuff, that's the whole point Java wants to swallow Tanya is to carry everything with little effort. Also the fact that if she was planning to digest, she would tell Tanya to remove her BELT & SACK too, as not to get random and unknown objects lodged in her belly.
Oh another risk to consider is that there may not be enough room in first belly, considering how big it is right now. May have to swallow Kuva, or let Kuva swallow Tanya to fit. Which both are dangerous since Tanya's STOMACH is low and Kuva wouldn't care for Tanya if she thought it was her last meal or something. Another risk to consider is that to make Tanya fit, Java may need to push Kuva Deeper in order to make room. Or Java could start squeezing and compressing her belly...
I'd try to hide at least one small weapon (like the dart) before going in. If Java is trustworthy, there'll be no need to use it. If she turns out not to be, the dart might make her sick enough to regurgitate everyone without necessarily killing Java.
And I'd still offer to take out the dagger from her tail and apply healing balm to it before going in. A good deed can have positive knock-on effects to all but the most villainous characters, and to a neutral like Java seems to be, it might be a decent good-faith gesture.

As much as I love Java, I voted no. While yes she can probably(?) move faster, there are several issues:
1.) She will be technically alone, and more easy for dust/magic throwing people to surprise her or anyone else to ambush her.
2.) This might push Kuva deeper, make it harder for her to be coughed back up. (I still want Tanya to get her equal revenge. Fair is Fair :P)
3.) She might decide to pull a Kuva, or worse. I want to Trust Java, but I'd trust Kuva a bit more (admittedly).
4.) If anything goes wrong, where she gets knocked out, or passes out from blood loss (unlikely, but another thought), where does that leave us?
5.) We are going to lose Charm to this ( :P )
I really don't want to leave Java alone, at least as far as I can see She has some sort of Hit out on her. We don't know why just yet, but I get the possible feeling that she might be relatively innocent (or at best not truly interested in digesting Tanya) and just being targeted because of lies (like the ones Jabaro were telling us, half truths and full out lies to make her seem worse).

Now that I had a while to look at this, I feel that maybe we can trust Java here.
Because she proved that the eye trick is possible, and if she was intending to back-stab us it is kinda pointless to give us an option when she could simply do the eye trick and fuck us over no problem right now. So it makes no sense to do pointless banter with Tanya if she is intending to kill us.
That and saying no could have her do the eye trick on us and screw us over as badly.
That said, not sure how Kuva will react. But I would like to have a third party member to help out against the stranger, so let's not kill her or try to piss her off more than she will be. Eat her if she gets too aggressive, but not kill her.

I voted to have her be eaten. It would take a hit to the charm, but allow the vigor to recover in the process. While giving up the knife is one thing, the pouches hold the poison darts, and those are concealed and she has no knowledge of them. If escape is absolutely needed because of betrayal, the poison darts would be the ticket out.
The way I'm thinking about it is if she's lying, we might not have enough energy to fight. Plus if she just decides to attack and eat Tanya anyway we'd probably not have enough energy to fight back or run away. I feel like we can trust her, but I'm very cautious.
Wish we could hide the darts.
Great story and work fidchell, keeping the suspense going 😋❤️💛
