This is a species I am currently playing in Stellaris :)

I used in-game the alien-penguin tri-beaked portrait; but I imagine them looking exactly like earth penguins despite they have no idea what a "penguin" is. Due to the nature of their homeworld, how it is a frozen world with harsh climate with little to sparse flora and fuana. Also the Tezekians become too greedy and started to mine their own homeworld far to quickly which resulted in it shattering apart due to the over use of high-powered fracking techniques. Because of this, most life on this shattered world has adapted to little atmosphere left and the sheer freezing temperatures on the surface. As such when Tezekians go off world into environments that would normally kill them; they wear full-body refrigeration suits to deal with other species.

For their appearance I have drawn inspiration from Emperor Penguins, with a few added elements to give them a variety of appearances between individuals. This is mostly do to the long plumage-like eyebrows and older male Tezekians a plumage beard. While females have no plumage eyebrows but instead their beaks are the same colour as their "hair" colour. Their fur pattern is that of a young emperor penguin, they keep it through out their lifespan as they reach the age of 60 it will start to invert and becoming more muted in colour.

The Tezekians are ruled by powerful conglomerate corporations which are both political parties and corporate organizations, through their history this has always been so since the earlier Steam Age. Right now several powerful conglomerates rules the Corporate States, each high-ranking executive rules along side several other CEOs in a corporate council which makes decisions of state, foreign relations, business deals, etc.

The idea of them inspired by satirized MURICA, the Ferengi Alliance, and Warcraft Goblins (<3). So cute, greedy, aloof penguins that live to make the best sale and gain status and prestige through the accumulation of wealth. xD
