The only thing I like about this pic is the color I picked to draw with. (okay, the truth is I like a few more things like the back paws, just barely in the background, the horns, kinda, and the chest.)

doraneirok, this poor, poor result of the spiffed out image I have of you and the Audi R8 remains imprisoned in my mind. v_v Doran is copyright ...
(Half the time when I use the tablet, I end up so personally seethingly angry and enraged and INCENSED inside that I go away from other people until it passes. No tool should be so angering to use. I'm still learning with it, but there is just no conceivable excuse for it, it CANNOT possibly be so bad as to ruin your ideas, waste your patience, and make you consider leaving digital art altogether. No tool should be such a negative influence to you.)
Edit # Because I couldn't stop thinking about the ass quality of this, I had to make it better, and redo some stuff. Here is the updated closer-to-what-I-was-thinking R8 draggy. Yay! It's still suck to me, but at least I can say I won't allow myself to draw just piss poor, at least I'll do better than bad. Still have no idea what the hell I was doing with the wings. X_X AUGH WINGS. But this is better. Cleaner face too.

Gahh!!! *laughs* It's wonderful! I'm never gonna be upset about random unexpected art that involves me, I think it's brilliant. :) So please don't take it down on my account. Thanks! And yay R8 Dorey. ^..^ I'm sorry the tablet's so frustrating to use! I really hope you get more comfortable with it over time. This is a lot of fun though and a very happy surprise. This is a fun series you're drawing too, I love you make the pose and personality match with the car you're thinking of.

*breathes in relief...* Yah, at the time I submitted, I was still with ANGURR toward my tablet, but now it's only rueful annoyance, if that phrase even means anything xD--I really, really didn't draw what...not what was in my mind's eye, but what I see in the R8 and what I see in your character:
*proceeds to put on his tweed coat and adjusts his spectacles, and lectures* I think what's most relevant to you and me, and what I think is most worth drawing and seeing, is the whys. Why did you choose primarily the Audi R8, why not a Bugatti Veyron, or Callaway C12, etc. I ask what it is about the R8 (styling, engineering, performance, automotive history, company history) that makes it different, and then ask why you like that differentness... and then I look at your character and its own features, and what in your personality, online self, differentiates you from all the other blue dragons out there. And, why do you differentiate yourself this way? I take the whys of the car, and the what and whys of the character, and try to draw something that reflects those put together. *takes off glasses and ego*
I mean, that's what goes on in my head, I just never tell anyone. @_@ My head is full of this.
I still think that having your paws with 35 degrees negative camber is really performancey hawt. Thank you for looking. :)

*grins* I'm just sorry it gave you that much frustration! I really love it though. I'm sure with time you'll get more comfortable with the tablet, they can be tricky though.
Thanks for sharing the thought process that went on in your head, it's pretty neat to hear. The focus on the 'why' element both for me and for the R8... the result is subtle but comparing your picture with a front shot of the R8 I can really see differences that come out not so much in the lines themselves but in the overall style and emotion. It's a really neat idea.
Being honest I had to look up what 'camber' meant to remind myself, but yes, I really do like the angle of the paws, it looks really cool. ^..^ Sporty and sleek yet vaguely playful. Just like a good sports car should be, and possibly as a Doran should be too. ;)

I really, honestly cannot tell how much of this is me, and how much is the tablet. I'm gonna have the thing test driven by an experienced user to find out.
