I actually cooked dinner today. It's stew - chopped potatoes, a can of peas, a couple chopped carrots, a little onion and galic and some stewmeat. Yeh, not high cuisine, but I turn on the stove so rarely, it's a special treat every time I do.

Welp, first you chop up the meat into bite sized pieces and fry it up. I also chopped up the potatoes and fried em a little at this point. Use a deep saucepan, oiled with vegetable oil. Then I dump in the can of peas, undrained - you want the water in there. Chop up the carrots and onion, toss it in there. Dump in plenty of dried garlic. And because I had a can of it sitting around, some chicken gravy, to thicken the stew. Half a teaspoon of salt. Mix thoroughly. Let simmer for a goodly while, stirring occasionally. When most of the spare water has evaporated, and the stew is thickening up, take off heat, let cool slightly, and eat. Goes well with whole wheat or multi-grain bread. I'd have made it into garlic toast, but I didn't have the patience.
Well what you do is get some stewing meat or chuck roast and cut it up making sure you keep the fat on(very important for the flavor), the you cook it in tobasco or chalula, chili powder worsichire sauce red wine and garlic til the sauce starts to thicken..... then you take some onions chili peppers(dragon ones are the best for it) and canned mushrooms and cook those into it until it's a little darker then you place it over rice, preferably brown(hence the maggots part)..... most of the ingredients you can work around to how you like it but it's a really tasty dish and you can add or remove things to it to make it your own.....
