Wanted to work on a more hangout-ish comic, and Pabs gave me the lovely little idea of Laura obsessing over thick ad characters. (Specifically, a knock-off version of the Lactaid cow!)

Poor Laura. I can relate.

Awesome! Glad you do! I've been wanting to make more slice-of-life style comics for a while, and thought this would be good practice.
And yesss that was exactly what I was going for. Glad it reminded someone else as well!

You can achieve it with both the Mapping pen effect in Medibang or the Marker effect in FireAlpaca, I think! Both work pretty well. I also had the opacity adjust with pressure and edited the transparency afterwards by copying layers onto each other.
