Looks like normal food right? It basically is. It almost looks like regular beef stew! I figured, regular dog food is expensive, so I made my own! I feed it to her half and half with her regular dog food. Since were all animal loving people here in the furry fandom I figured i'd upload this along with all the delicious people food!
So this contained is half of the cooked recipe i'll post below. The other I put in the freezer to cook later and this container alone probably about 8 half cup portions. This entire thing was probably like $5-7 for the whole thing after portioning
1 package Chicken Gizzards, cut into half inch cubes
1 Sweet Potato, cut into half inch cubes
1/3rd cup white jasmine rice
8oz water
1 cup frozen peas
1 tbsp vegetable oil
-Tumeric
-Ginger Powder
-Basil, 1 tsp each
-Heat up some vegetable oil in a pot on medium high and put the chicken gizzards in and cook until theyre browned. -Add in the sweet potatoes, and rice and stir until coated in oil.
-Add in the water, peas and seasonings and raise to a boil, then reduce to a low flame and allow to simmer until rice and sweet potatoes are cooked.
-Allow to cool and serve to your pup!
My dog Lilly really enjoyed it. She's always begging for more

Jasmine Rice and Tumeric? :o Reminds me of my Indian grandmothers cooking actually! ^^
Oh it'd probably be super good if the gizzards were regular chicken and some salt and pepper added

I'm going to try feeding this to my dog ^.^ I bet he would love it. Think it would be good with carrots? My dog is addicted to carrots.
Yep! Definitely add carrots
