This was my first attempt at drawing "furry" art, made shortly after I discovered the furry & zoo scene. Obviously, it's a pun on the Volkswagen slogan (do they even use that anymore?).

*grin* And I seldom encounter a word that sends me to the dictionary, so congrats. :)
Hircine: "of or pertaining to a goat, esp. in terms of strong odor or libido." The libido I can vouch for; the odor I can douse with a shower. :) I also learned that, in the Elder Scrolls video game universe, Hircine is the Daedric prince who created and guards over were-creatures.
It's interesting that a character with a deer head is named "hircine": the proper term for "of or pertaining to a deer" would be "cervine," which is what I was going for with this character. Nevertheless, I'm glad you like it. :)

Hercine, Cerne, Cervine and the Horned God are also alternate names given to one of the forms of the Celtic god Cernunnos who was a really popular god to the Celtic peoples at one time. http://www.isisbooks.com/cernunnos.asp . He is also related to the Green Man who is either, to some tales, as a similar being, related or one in the same. .
Blasted. I knew a day one will come by and beat me at the ranking of old school. Oh well. Never cared anyway. Everyone coming into college these days do not even know the 80s being born in 90 or above. LOL. Even though I am a senior, everyone coming in are surprised I know the 80s. I am like 'weren't you born in 1990?'. Kids these days. LOL.
