Fun fact about that bear:
My boyfriend's mom gave it to me after he left for the army, and then I mentioned it to him and he said he'd never seen that bear before.
I got a little pouty over the lack of meaning so he made up a story about how when he was a boy the coyotes outside would scare him but he could sleep if he had the bear because a bear could take on a coyote anyday.
