I wanted to see relatively how big a sippy cup would be if made in a adult size with the exact same proportions as a toddler one
unscaled Dimensions: 2.7 x 2.7 x 7.5 (holds 10 oz)
scaled Dimensions: 5.8 x 5.8 x 16.4 (holds 21.8 oz) - assuming liquid follows same %
This is about a 118% increase so a little over double the size. I based the sizing off of this sippy cup https://www.amazon.com/NUK-Designs-Learner-Patterns-10-Ounce/dp/B002QCPQ0E/ref=sr_1_10_s_it?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1475936716&sr=1-10&keywords=sippy%2Bcups%2Bfor%2Btoddlers&th=1
If you were to do a more small wider one you might be able to find a adult sized one that would work well, seeing as how finding a 16 in tall bottle will be near impossible xD.

Woah, that math is bad. No, liquid does not follow the same math.
2.7x2.7x7.5 = 54.675
5.8x5.8x16.4 = 551.696
See? A 218% increase in size means approxamately a 10x increase in volume.
Also, it's not 118% the size, as you can't forget the original size is 100%.
A simple way to calculate a proportional volume increase in any percent for any amount of dimensions is (percent increase or reduction)^(dimensions). In this case, 2.18^3 = 10.36. Therefore, scaled, the bottle would hold 103.6 ounces.
There are 128oz/1gal. This scaled bottle would hold approxamately 81% of a gallon. (103.6/128 = 0.809)
