Atza, a fantastic artist, is doing these awesome ink portraits, making people's characters into monstrosities!!! I asked for one of Rrhex and it is just awesome!!!
I love the third eye, but I'm really squealing about the ribbon-y stuff flowing from his mouth all around him. The word Rrhexis (or propertly, -rrhexis) is actually a medical suffix meaning to gush or burst forth. The more familiar suffix is -rrhage (as in hemorrhage, or broken into it's parts, hem/o/rrhage) but -rrhexis is also suitable (for example, hemorrhexis...which has the same meaning as hemorrhage).
So without knowing this, Atza made this portrait with that ribbon-y stuff (blood? the soul? a rainbow?) bursting forth from him, and thus made it with his name as it's seen here!!! This means that it has an extra meaning for me. :)
