"Snap the magic dragon lived by the sea
he ate your face and then your guts
in the land of Oh-Em-Gee...."
Usually when I create a dragon creature I tend to give them an air of benevolence. Not so much with this ill-tempered brute! This snaggle-toothed green dragon has been sculpted around a real grey fox skull that was processed and cleaned by me as a natural decease. Detailed scales, wrinkles, nubs, ridges and curling horns in multiple shades of green, black and a little silvery gray were created using professional quality polymer clay. Centered in his forehead is a polished moonstone while his fiery red and yellow eyes are handmade with clear, glassy resin.
He isn't just a sculpture, either. He's also a wearable pendant that's perfect for any cosplay...or just for wearing to the grocery store, if it pleases you.
Snap's teeth were recolored after processing so they'd have a properly filthy look to them; I also intentionally removed a few minor teeth to make him look more weathered and lived in. Lastly his teeth and gums were given a high gloss 'wet' finish. He has a moving lower jaw that opens and closes freely, so he does indeed live up to his name. :) He can sing, he can bite, he can talk, he can tell bad jokes!
Unlike the rest of my creature sculptures Snap shows more of his skull roots - I could cement his jaw and add more clay to turn him into a fully fleshed beast like my other 'Skritters' and will do so if requested, for an additional fee. The moving jaw will be sacrificed for that though, so please keep that in mind if considering the option.
Snap is exactly 4 1/2 inches in length and just under 4 inches across the horns. He hangs on a heavy gunmetal chain (bright finish) that closes with a latch clasp. Please tell me your preferred chain length with your order: 18 inch, 20 inch, 22 inch or an extra long 24 inches.
USA only. Free shipping! Available at link below.
