I have a Indy hat hanging up, but I figured there might be tricks oh well :3

Well, I'm horrible at explaining what I do, but in the beginning I start with the brim of the hat in the front where it....points out down there. x:
Then I make a really smooth, curvy line for where the brim curls up, and then curl it around the back there. xD; If that makes any sense.
Then I add in the top part and it's done. C:

I guess I just throw together some really simple shapes and lines, really. xD;

I like the background a lot. I also like how the light of the background falls on him. It's a more contrasted image than the previous one, which benefits the piece greatly. Awesome work!
