I did a quick doodle bc I'm feeling stressed and seeing these two hang out together makes me happy. ;u; I am also in need of rest. <3

My favorite part is probably Captain's tongue doing the "blep" while they're sleeping. X3

Also, smoll Captain is smoll. <3 J is actually a lot bigger than she is, which is why he makes a great cuddle-buddy for her! (She also snuggles in her sleep, unknown by many! Nose-kisses are also a thing that happens when she is sleeping.)
Captain is roughly one to two thirds the size of the Joker here. Again, good reasons for it, but probably not what you're thinking!

J, in the meantime, does not like cuddles or sleep very much at all, but Captain turns him into a big cuddly pushover, and it's all he can do to (begrudgingly) allow snuggles while they sleep. He endures it because of his insight informing him of something important, although it's not something he could put into words, and even appreciates it when he thinks that she's not looking.
He fawns over her a lot while she takes care of him, and does so because she's one of the very few dragons that actually genuinely cares about him and his wellbeing without any incentives.

Their relationship with one another is a strange, complicated thing. <3
