BOO!
Scared you <:3c
So I finally got one squad of my Legion of the Damned painted up. In the story behind my custom-ish chapter, the Sons of Prism, their entire third company, "Golden Company", was completely destroyed by the Black Templars save for a single librarian: Camaxtli.
Several months after writing that, I would read the Helsreach book, which was mediocre every page Andrej wasn't present :3 Anyway, that book made me really want to paint Celestial Lions, but I couldn't really make another army, and I couldn't really sell just a single squad of Lions, so I took this my dead Golden Company as an opportunity to paint a similar color scheme. I have a second squad in the works, but I only really prioritized one x3

Maybe turquoise for the various furs and hair hanging off them? I always aim for kind of a gaudy contrast when I make models. If you're looking for specific paints, I like Balthasar Gold for my bronze/gold bases. Washing it in Agrax Earthshade or Seraphim Sepia will appropriately shade the metals without completely washing them out like Nuln Oil will. And the new Retributor Gold is really good, that's what I used on my boyos here.
