INBOX FLOOOOOOOOD (Sorry, I'm done for today ;.; )
You can imagine my excitement when I managed to capture the birth of some of my Harlequin cockroaches :) It's something I'd never seen before, and was amazing. From the looks of it, they molt on their way out of the egg sac. See all those tiny little molts around the egg? :)
They're now about 1 cm long, but they started out at about 1/3 of that. This photo was taken about a month ago. They now have the very beautiful Harlequin roach patterns :) I'll post the recent photos of them tomorrow.

I don't know of many people who do, especially who dare to keep wild-caught roaches in their home of which are normally considered pests (such as Australian and oriental roaches). I have 9 species right now (I think? XD) but I've kept at least 20 at various times. The most popular roach pet is the Madagascan hissing cockroach, which is often used to educate people in schools and in zoos :) I've got about 30 of those.
omg scary XD haha I wish people werent so infuenced to be scared of roaches XD (even if im one of them )
Insects are fun 8)...but I don't like them near me not because I find them gross but because...I'm afraid of squishing them. or getting bited XD the only bugs that aren't scary for me are beetles 8|
They looks very interesting though. I didn't know how roaches were born haha,they looks pretty awsome :B
