Girls of SGP: Alex O’Malley

Alex is the first original female character I remember having (ignoring “OCs”)… I’m sure there were others, but I don’t recall who they were, other than some kind of modded stencil tracings (long story I don’t want to get into).

Here’s where I will start getting into “body diversity” trouble areas, as her story setting generally has not had a “good” reason to diversify: most of the girls around her are 1. teenagers and 2. vain, so they’d be as rail-thin as possible, and Alex herself has an in-story reason to be trim despite not being vain at all.

This isn’t to say I’ve not tried to force the aspect, just that as a rule her story reflects reality more than my others, so putting her alongside Hysteria isn’t going to work. Or, not work WELL.
