The way you work with light is just amazing!

Amazing, however some criticism:
There looks like there seems to be no land mass above the water level in the image and the mostly flat water kinda makes no sense because since there is no land in sight, (unless it's behind the camera or something, but in that case there would still be ripples or whatever) the characters must have been in the water for a while and there would be more ripples from their activity.

I dunno if that makes sense.

I believe the intended effect was that they're running around in the shallow end of a beach, so the land is right underneath them

I understand, but I believe there would be at least something if it were a beach, like tidal waves of some sort? Even really small ones.

You are right that the water should be more disturbed by their movements.
