Cadbury, the cuddly hoodie mimic belongs to  neekokarina

Cadbury's a sweet, quiet hoodie that's honestly much too fashionable for a ghost not particularly known for wearing much of anything. Still, finding folk that willingly don the delightfully macabre soul for longer than a few moments—let alone a whole day—isn't always an easy task. Not exactly a favorable situation for a mimic that prefers to get around on someone's back over their own two footsies. Luckily, Kirbu's the sort that would take a whimsically disturbed remark with a knowing laugh rather than a cringe and sideways glance. They're not just a trendy being that compliments his lime green glow, as Cadbury's sense of blissful dire compliments a specter that's always been creep-deficient.

Now, most mimics can easily alter themselves a bit to fit just about anyone, but I think Kirbu was eager to the point of involuntarily reshaping himself first! The ghost has always been waiting for the perfect opportunity to play with that physical identity anyway. What better reason than hanging out with a new best friend? Still, Cadbury may have needed to adjust for those gigantic hands of his. Hardly a tradeoff in order to be worn by someone that's just as comfortable with your true, full self as they are with your velvety exterior, yea?

Now, while I'm sure they'd be content cuddling together back home, these two instead decided to go hit the local plaza and see what's going on. I'm not entirely sure if Cadbury really does like pastries. It isn't easy to glean that preference without asking 'em directly. And mmmmaybe it's a bit rude to assume that with a name like Cadbury that they just adore sugar by default. But Kirbu seems pretty dang sure that they do! And the specialty baker at the outdoor mall is running a sale with them! While the ghost can't hold back on announcing his discovery, the mimic's mind is elsewhere at the moment. Now, mimics rarely if ever reveal their monstrous sides. The ones of yore lived on these surprise form factors to feast, but these days it's more a remnant of the clothing-eat-dog past. Let's just chalk it up to Kirbu's penchant for allowing others to temporarily let go of their inhibitions when Cadbury teases him with a little light-hearted dismembering. Honestly, he likes the feeling of his mitt sat in that mouth anyway. It's one of the few times someone else is warm, gooey and weird around him.

More importantly, this was just another prime opportunity for me to play with neekokarina's mimics, specifically Cadbury here. Before I just loved how they looked (you really ought to check out their anthro form if you haven't already), but once I got a good idea of their character, it was even more right to make a little moment out of this matchup! Here's hoping to play more with this creepy couple in the future~
