The David Walls is a large scale one-off IPX owned research and archaeological starship. Interplanetary Expeditions had the David Walls commissioned to explore dead worlds out on the Deep Range. Maximillion Eilerson once served aboard the David Walls on one such mission beyond the Deep Range, which is when he located an ancient alien device used during prison transport (which he later used on Rolf Muller as a form of blackmail). Four cylindrical pods are locked in place just in front of the engine block and can be separated from the David Walls for any number of reasons. Each pod has two hanger doors, one of either side, and can be used as a docking ring between the pod and the main ship.
