Idk what to call it xD

But this is my attempt at trying to turn one of my own alien races into a race that would be seen in the game Stellaris, which are my own take on the "space orc" concept. I tried to make it feel like one of the little splash info panels you would see in-game, I know the background panel and borders are uneven but that is what you get when your an artist with arthritis :/.

The Lurtzog Confederacy or more politically known as the "Guild Confederation of Uur'Rts", their government is akin to a Science Directorate but it operates more like a Technocratic Oligarchy with a caste-system. The Confederacy is ruled by a council of experts in their fields, they are commonly referred to as the "Senate of Reason" which its current head director is Burrkull Slashstabba, a expert in social and environmental engineering. Their naming may come off as strange but there is a reason for this, the Lurtzog used to be a hyper-violent warrior race that fought each other constantly up until the atomic age; these wars where commonly referred to as "Blood Wars" as they where more like blood feuds between different clans. These wars where bloody and terrible, they nearly destroyed their race as they caused their home world to undergo a nuclear winter, with less than 600,000 of their people left. They swore that violence shall not dominate their people anymore, instead they devoted themselves to progress, science and social harmony.

The major political parties also function akin to schools of study, which are referred to as the "Great Schools of Thought" each school focusing on major areas of the Lurtzog society. There are two board castes within their society; The Gifted and The Union. The Gifted are those lurtzog that show great innate aptitude, skill and determination to become the next generation of physicists, engineers, doctors, etc. While the Union is those of lesser aptitude, little to no innate skill or lack of determination these service as common workforce within the larger society. This caste system, works very well but it does have its issues those of the Union are regarded as commoners by some of the other Gifted; the Senate of Reason has tried to stop this segregation and hate by allowing any Union worker the capacity to become a Gifted through special grants and academic schools.

I have over 12 pages typed down on my Lurtzog race, I find world-building alot of fun :) hope you guys like it.
