Arrighties, not exactly my typical sort of character, but I've taken quite a liking to her. This is Sophie, a member of a cave dwelling species called Rikikisk. And yes, since i have developed info about both Sophie and her species, I'll be posting some species information as well.

Sophie (called "Soapy" by her people) is a spry and upbeat individual but bears her species wild tendencies. Though very caring, she can act recklessly and without thinking to where thoughts of others well being fall to the wayside until something happens. She bears a remarkable curiosity and has a tendency to be easily distracted by anything that may catch her attention. Like her species she also tends to live in the moment with only minor thought to the past or future. She's always up for a little mischief as well. not a day goes by where she's not pulling off tricks on one individual or another. She has a hard time truly recognizing anger. she can tell when people are upset with her however which will usually result in her trying to make things right. Often times however, she only makes things worse. Though courageous, she can also be rather skittish when nervous or afraid, jumping at the littlest things.

When it comes to her abilities, Sophie possesses all the abilities that come with her species. First and foremost is her corrosive breath which is invaluable when it comes to hunting prey. However, her breath also reeks, even when she's not spewing corrosive chemicals with it. Her tail is also hollow on the inside and is used to transport items or prey from one location to another. It can open up and stretch to accommodate large or multiple objects at once. It can stretch until it's as big around as she is tall, though dragging a tail like that around can be a pain depending on what's in it. It's also quite strong and can trap live prey. Physically, she is extremely quick and agile along with strength above that of an average human and sharp claws and teeth. She also has extremely acute senses as well as redundant ones to compensate if something were to happen to her other ones. However, like all of her species, her eyes are extremely sensitive to light. About the maximum they can handle is the light of a full moon. After that, she need to cover her eyes with something or avoid exposing them to bright light.

Language: Rikikisk naturally communicate with noise. However, their vocal cords are developed just as much as a human's and they are capable of speech. In fact, most speak with language that they learned from humans, however, their sentences can often be a mess and words horribly jumbled.

Lifestyle: Rikikisk Live in caves or other perpetually dark places. These places serve to protect their eyes, keep them close tot heir favorite food sources. They construct primitive furniture and baubles with whatever they find lying around. Some taking great pride and even creating what they would call "art" out of what they make. However, they are naturally curious creatures and are drawn to things created by other sentient life. It is common for them to leave their caves at night and raid nearby human settlements, often in the form of scouring their yards or even sneaking into their houses. Thanks to their love of baubles, they have a tendency to rob the places they come across because they find something they like, using their tails to store their ill gotten goods. though they get nervous about being caught when they become too "jingly". They don't stop with objects however. Since they don't make their own clothing too often, they prefer to take human clothing that they like, though they will often damage it in ways that suit their preferences, such as ripping off the sleeves.

Society: Rikikisk don't have much of a social structure. They appear somewhat tribal like and will often seek the older and more knowledgeable folk for advice, but for the most part, they just have a natural tendency to work together. They also tend to live in the moment, meaning that there are limited records of their past aside from diaries (a hobby adopted from humans) and rarely any plans for the future that extend from general survival. They are also capable of producing "art" out of the various things they find lying around, or they nick from people's houses. They will often give these pieces of art to their friends or as gifts to the humans in the houses that they like to visit. They also have rituals when it comes to caring for the dead. When a Rikikisk dies, they are usually mourned by everyone as they are fairly close as a society. One person will then remove the dead's skull before burial and keep it in memory of them. they get very upset if the skull is damaged or broken at any point after that.

Hunting: Rikikisk like to hunt giant cave bugs, though will sometimes leave their caves and hunt other game. When hunting, and for self defense in general, their corrosive breath is invaluable as it can burn the eyes of their quarry or weaken their tough armor to be torn through. When it comes to food, they have massive appetites and will eat nearly anything be it flora or fauna. However, despite that, they do have a means of identifying what isn't food. Basically, if it talks, it's not food. if it doesn't talk, it is food. This of course extends to an entire species. for example, they would not eat a human just because it's mute. They also even keep pets, usually in the form of some of their favorite snack species such as frogs or snails. They do not eat their pets however and their official term for them is "friend food".

Light Sensitivity: Rikikisk eyes are extremely sensitive to light and can only handle intensities up to that of a full moon. After that, they require protection for their eyes if they go out during the day. Most of the time, this takes the form of a simple blindfold. This light sensitivity also makes them sensitive to anything sparkly and will often investigate the source. To compensate for the lack of sight in sunlight because of their eyewear, they can monitor their surroundings through hearing, smell, and taste.

Tails: Aside from their physical ability and corrosive breath when it comes to abilities, Rikikisk also posses hollow tails with four segments, allowing them to open them at will. though they may look dangerous when opened, they are actually harmless, though they are fairly strong and hard to open from the inside due to how they lock themselves closed with their tooth-like rims. They use these tails as a means of transporting and holding things, much like a backpack. They are also very stretchy and can stretch as big around as the individual is tall, leading them to have to drag a massive and heavy tail around if they get too greedy with what they put in them. Individual sections can open independently of the others, thus allowing them to open the top section to deposit small items.

Hygine: Another notable feature about these critters is that they can also be rather stinky due to a lack of regular washing, so it's not only their breath. Given, they may sometimes take a bath, if not only to play with a bar of soap they nicked from a house, but for the most part, they rarely bathe. that said, if they find themselves covered in dirt and grime, they will take a dip in any nearby water source to wash it off.

Influence on the outside: Aside from raiding their homes at night, Rikikisk keep a fair distance from large groups of humans, though will approach and interact with individuals or tiny groups if they are found isolated. They have a fondness for kids thanks to them being smaller than them as well as having a tendency to be more playful than adults. They tend to stay away from towns hand homes during the day however. Because of their fairly reclusive nature, local populations of humans know very little of the Rikikisk, but their deeds of theft have given them a negative but fabled reputation since they are rarely ever caught in the act, and at that, only a glimpse. They exist mostly in rumors and many people dislike them as a result.
