The Storm Class is basically a Hyperion refit that carries some serious electronic warfare components that allow it to hack enemy ships and take control of their systems. Once this ship has control the enemy's systems, it can turn off life-support on their vessel, open all of the air-locks, and then take control of it's targetting systems and weapons to use the hostile vessel against its own allies. Pretty terrifying, but the only actual weapons carried by the ship are the forward cannons that come standard one pretty much every hyperion. All other weapons were stripped, so this ship is in need of an escort whenever she leaves port.
