You entered the mansion, and took the Grand Staircase directly in front of you. At the top, you took the central door. The door was less intricately carved, and showed signs near constant use, that is before it too like the rest of the mansion was abandoned. Behind the door, you detect the scent of malt beers and aged meat wafts into the air, enticing, stately.
Opening the door, a cavernous hall awaits you. It is a massive stone wrought room and it’s vaults span to your left and right impossibly. Inside of the hall, it feels as if it is the largest room in the mansion. Great banners hang from the stone walls, depicting coat-of-arms of families you’ve never heard of. Trophy heads of great animals bedeck the walls, and tapestries celebrate imaginary hunts – all of which seemed to be done at night.
Despite the grandeur, the room is in disarray. At either end of the massive room the great doors are torn from their hinges. The tapestries have claw marks raking them to tatters, and the furniture is all scratched to shreds. As you examine one of the torn banners, you feel sharp pains slicing down your back. You turn before falling to hear a low growl, and see red eyes fade away in the dark. When you turn to face the full moon through the great window the pieces come together. A low baying howl echoes throughout the mansion, chilling you to the bone. In pain you answer that howl with one of your own, as your jaws push out into a canine snout! Wiry fur covers your body, muscles and bone warp and strengthen. Claws dig holes into the ancient floor as your transformation completes.
The pain vanishes in a haze, and your last thoughts are of the beast taking over. You’ve become the WEREWOLF

It also was placed directly in a straight line in the CYOA, taking the central option of every prompt, thenomeking took the bait!
