I loved the game.

Which one? Because I can tell you, Conquest and I are not friends.

I was a silly-billy and played Conquest first, because I thought, "I feel the Nohr family is his real family because they raised him."

But I count "Fates" as one game with three faces. Great characters everywhere.

I was extremely disappointed with Conquest, especially after all of the hype that particular route seemed to receive. I've only played through that path once, as opposed to Birthright which I have five save files for.

I enjoy Revelations for the opportunity to experience the Nohrian characters outside of the suffocating vacuum of the Conquest storyline, but I still have my gripes about that route as well (the inability to recruit Yukimura and the death of Izana [therefore rendering him non-recruitable] are what immediately spring to mind).

Though Conquest scores points with me because it allows Shura to personally exact his revenge on Kotaro, which he even gets unique dialogue for. Unfortunately that's not enough to get me to play through it again (I wept like a baby when Ryoma committed seppuku. I feel it's the most brutal death of the three routes, aside from Scarlet's off-screen death which they describe as her being killed in a way as to make an example of her, which makes my stomach lurch).
