The Andrew Class Tactical Cruiser is a heavily modified version of the base Hyperion Class Cruiser design and was intended to try and give EarthForce fleets a better chance of surviving Minbari assaults. 4 of the 25 vessels built during the Earth-Minbari War War survived the Minbari onslaught. Once the war was over, a second order of these vessels was commissioned. There are currently 36 Andrew Class Tactical Cruisers in service.
