"Project Sharlin Killer" came about during the final month of the Earth-Minbari War as a possible way of taking out a Minbari warship with a detachable warhead. The idea came from Admiral Alexander Petrov, an avid World War Two historian whom remembered reading about a German ramming group, Sondercommando Elbe. The base for the prototype was the EAS Elbe, a modified Xavier Class Light Cruiser that, with the use of explosive bolts, would eject the self-propelled nuclear warhead loaded hull at the front. The EAS Elbe was destroyed during it's trial run at Wolf 359 when a lone Warrior Caste Sharlin jumped into the system, resulting in the loss of both vessels.
