This is Lily. She's basically an anthropomorphic version of myself. She is a pure vulpus vulpus, but the black marks under her eyes is unique to her.

I assume the black marks go down the sides of the muzzle? Or are they 'above' it?

They do go down the sides of the muzzle, just below the eyes. I chose the black markings to make Lily distinctive from other red foxes.

As someone who has looked into foxes a whole lots.

Those markings are actually pretty common.

You don't need a certain mark to be unique. A character is unique because of their character, not how they look. Just saying.
