I want them to look young and cute. I mean, they're only 16 and just a few months ago they were all still living with their parents. I want them to seem like they're still kids, but also have a certain newly independent maturity about them as well.

College is a good place to make friends, especially if you live on campus like Chucky. Because you're in close quarters with everyone and they all have similar interests. Of course it's an easy place to make enemies too, for the same reasons.

oh i figuerd sence it was flight school they wher at least 18 and up they look cute regardles though being amrican most kids arent in colige till they are out og highschool at 17 or 18 in my cace it was till i was 21 but that was by choce do to the program i was in being im autistic

The school system in Chucky's world works a little different. 'Primary' school is 10 years and mandatory. Most kids start primary school around age 5 or 6 and provides 10 years of education to prepare you live independently as a legal adult. Most furs finish in the normal 10 years, putting them at around 16 years old at graduation. A primary school diploma grants you all adult rights and privileges. Someone like Chucky who is very motivated to continue his education would find themselves as a 16 year old college freshman.

Also, I just found 16 to be a more interesting age than 18.

I like to think their world is pretty cool. I try to adjust things in it to how I think they should be. For one, their dorm rooms aren't the size of prison cells like mine was.

The genius that is Wierd AL! I was just in Indiana last weekend in Amish country and all I kept hearing in my mind was Amish Paradise!

I would be too, lol. He's been putting out the same brand of humor since the early 80s and it NEVER gets old. I still have his cassettes from when I was a kid. So it's not just the humor, I get a huge nostalgia factor from him as well.

I finally noticed that besides his speech issue, Kevin seems to be a bit hyperactive.

Clueless with girls. Chucky reminds me of myself when I was in college (except he is a good student and he has friends) but the clueless part was the same. Most of the time I boycotted my own chances with girls for being good at reading "mating signals". And of course, being very shy didn't help.

I mean, when a girl likes you there are a lot of subtle clues you are supposed to notice. I was never good and catching those.
Most of the time I interpreted it as "she finds me funny" and ruined everything by trying to be funnier and acting like a total buffoon, which drove her away.

Ha ha ha! I know what you mean now. My brother loves being entertaining and he used to do that a lot, it usually got him friendzoned. To be fair, it got him laid a lot too, but he had that 'charm'.
