The collection of technical manuals, literature and just plain trashy paperback novels accumulating at Mason Motors threatens to overflow the office. Accordingly, Micky has a new assistant, a library major named Eva, whose job it will be to keep the printed stuff out of the machinery (just how a "Jane, the Lowfolk Femme" trade paperback made it into the CNC machine, nobody seems to know!)...

Eva's other job will be to keep Zeus, a cheery bluebird with an unfortunate affinity for "decorating" freshly polished car finishes, out of the workshop area under pain of being turned into roast squab...

Eva's great-uncle was a pilot in the Afrika Korps during WWII, and has taught her to fly his restored peach-colored (not pink!) Fieseler Storch airplane...
