I went on an artistic journey tonight which began with a silly concoction of Lisa Frank/Sailor Moon aesthetics and turned into a remedy that has renewed something broken within me, as an artist. This passionate use of color and lighting is what I feel that my work has been missing. I feel so good for having experimented and allowing myself to be inspired. This will be a new direction I want to take my art in, with a fearless use of bold color that expresses emotion I haven't previously been able to convey
