After having a small talk with  PythonBlue in regards to an album of 80's and 90's synthpop he was featured on, I remembered I had a copy of the midi of Land of Confusion lying around. On Thursday, I had a very short day at the Fresher's Fair at my university so I figured I'd have a go transcribing it out. It took about 7 hours, but I'm very happy with the result.

I'm most pleased with the instrumentation change, particularly for the slower part in the middle. I elected to swap from the bigger, acoustic drum samples to the LinnDrum ones and made that part much softer than on the original song and the rest of the piece much heavier. I did have to go back into the mix to ramp up the keyboards and drop the drums a little, and now it feels pretty good. It's possible it may appear again down the line with vocals, but idk. I'm pleased with how it sounds instrumentally though.

I think this'll be the last cover I do for a while though... I somewhat saturated you with 'em for a little here, eh? I have another song I really wanna cover, but I'll probably save it for later on :P
