i buy potatoes regularly and i had some started to sprout so I just chucked 'em in a pot of soil I had (literally just plopped on top of the soil). a few months later, it's starting to attract little gnatty bugs so I disturbed the taters to see what was up with 'em and two of them appear to have rotted a bit/liquefied on the inside, BUT tucked away in the soil just beneath the surface... I found a tiny potato. I GREW A TINY POTATO. I DID THE THING. \o/
