It really is excellent. ONE is literally the person who got me to give anime a chance at all again after ten years. I think he's a wonderful reformist who understands the genre perfectly, deconstructs it and builds it back together again without all the problems inherent to it (i.e. over-exposition, prioritizing polish over dynamism, melodramatics as an easy replacement for genuine and believable emotions that require much better character writing skills to pull off, ect). I look up to him immensely.

GoD yes. That is so well put. Like when I first watched O e Punch Man I expected some one hot like Genos to be the main character, but no. I expected long drawn out battles that take dozens of episodes like other Shounen anime, but no. And the commentary of the characters is almost satirical to other animes and I love it. So when I found out he did another with Mob, I was so on board so fast, and tbh I like it better than OPM. It's all the right flow of storytelling without taking too long, the action and characters are memorable and feel justified, and it's fantastic. Bless ONE.
