To be 100% honest here, I think the microphone you used will need to be upgraded... The pop filter is mainly designed to be used with mics that pick up many small details in sound, your sample sounds like a webcam.

It's also possible you might be near a source of noise, possibly a fan or a computer tower. That is an additional thing to eliminate.
