Let us descend once more.
Did you think that I would stop at only one eldritch pony? Oh no, I haven't even gotten started yet on the ones that belong to me. Princess Amore was one that I focused upon in my interminable quest to make her a more interesting character. I pondered design concepts for a while, I thought of having more ooze stuff involved, I ended up cobbling together inspiration from a variety of different sources: Father and Pride from Fullmetal Alchemist, Aldrich from Dark Souls 3, and Shoggoths from Lovecraftian mythos. The backstory of the character in the Eldritchverse is somewhat inspired, at least in its most basic form, by At the Mountains of Madnesseven though I still haven't bothered to finish reading it yet in that an expedition to the furthest northern reaches of the world lead to the discovery of a terrible secret which transforms Amore.
