I think thats one of the coolest things about MMOs and just any game where you're allowed to create your own character.

For instance, I never finished the Witcher 3 or Dragon Age 2 not because they were bad games but because I just didnt care about the main character that you played as. For me there's just so much more of a draw to finish things when its a character that you yourself put time into creating and making looking cool, and maybe even developed a backstory for.

Hah, I hear you on that one. I just stopped playing FF to get back into wow for legion, but its also surprising how small of a world it is when you find other people playing one the same server as you!
