I'm almost done with this piece. I'm going to build a stand for it so it can be displayed somewhere pretty while not being used. Which it can be. It's a working dip pen.

I'm really happy about the paint job on this. The idea came from a piece I carved a long time ago, and have wanted to do something new with that idea for years. It came out better than I could have hoped for.
