I worked at Popeyes the summer of my junior year in high school. One time this lady came in with her son.I wasn't paying attention at the time but one of them ordered the spicy popcorn chicken, it was for the woman I guess because she was eating it. But anyway I had lobby and I was out there cleaning with the broom and stuff and she said "excuse me I can't eat this chicken, it's too spicy for me." ((Dude Popeyes Spicy chicken is NOT spicy if anything it's the only one with flavor)) Ignoring my desire to come back with "well why did you order it" I said "I'm sorry about that, but I'm off duty right now and I can't help you." She did the "get your manager" crap and I just ignored her and kept working...30 minutes later she was STILL THERE. She had a different problem this time she wanted some sauces and she said "could you get me some sauces" and I said "You'd have to pay for them, also I'm on break again so I can't help you" and she went out with the "I think after what I've been through I deserve some free sauces blah blah blah GET UR MANAGER" and I just sat there on my break while she blabbed away. I told her to go up to the counter herself and she started complaining about she just had a hip surgery and all that junk and I was like ohhhh my god and after a while I raised my voice at her the slightest bit about as most as I could without risking losing my job, and I could see people at other tables kind of noticing and laughing at the whole situation and it made me feel better lol. But I went back to the counter and told my coworkers "theres a crazy lady out there"and they were like "yeah omg I can't wait till she leaves" she stayed there for TWO OR THREE HOURS. yuckyuckyuck
Also there was a time when these guys came in with piercings and tattoos everywhere and their earlobes went down to their shoulders all 3 of them and we served them very politely and then we all went back behind the counter and cringed and touched our ears lmao "
