How to Play: Read the comic and then choose in the strawpoll link below what Tanya should do next.
Make sure to pay attention to Tanya's Stats. Charm determines how easily Tanya can sway others and cause them to do her bidding through seduction or other means. Stomach shows how hungry she is. If her meter gets too low, the quest may be railroaded, or Tanya doing something opposite of what the majority of people voted for. Vigor is vital for Tanya to do certain tasks that may require more effort than normal. Vigor can be seen as a combination of energy and mood.
There are also Current Sounds to keep in mind. Tanya is a rabbit with large ears! This means she uses her hearing almost constantly to remain aware of her surroundings. Current sounds can give a hint as to whether you should be careful in a specific situation or can do activities freely.
I'm looking for a lot of participation with this quest, so please chip in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

The dragging coming from the front is the tail and the dragging coming from the right is the rest of Java's body. She's trying to surround you with herself or grab you with her free hand that's not holding Kuva! So you need to leap to the left to avoid both her tail and her main body!
true, but we didn't fall flat on our face, have the wind knocked out of us and be left unable to defend ourselves or act.
and true, we lost the sword, but to be honest, against her, a big, heavy sword would be too slow to react effectively to her strikes. a shorter blade is somewhat more practical, and is more useful if we get tangled up in her coils. right now however, getting some distance would probably be the most important thing

To be honest, speaking from a practical perspective, no blade would be useful in the coils unless one has an arm free. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to get enough leverage to cut the scales. And even -then- there's no guarantee you'll be able to inflict any kind of significant wound because you can't put your weight behind the swing -and- she would be controlling the distance of her vital parts (head, chest, etc) easily while limiting our own movements.
Though the heavy blade is slow, it has a larger chance of dealing actual damage -because- of it's weight. However, the downside is that it's harder to wield.
This kind of situation, however, is -really- why I was hoping they'd vote to pick up the hammer in that house. Hammers are heavy at one end, and are easy to swing with lots of force. Just look at carpentry hammers. You relax your arm, and you let the head of the hammer almost 'fall' onto the point with you just aiming. And that is more then enough to say, break a finger, or tear your skin open. You need far less leverage because all the weight is concentrated on one end. Plus, even though it's a seriously morbid example, hammers are used in domestic violence and murders quite often because of how easy it is to break bones with them.
Anyways, distance, sadly won't matter. Have you ever seen a snake strike or dart away from something trying to grab it? They're very quick over short distances. You'd have to get a -lot- of distance to avoid her closing the gap in an instant, especially considering nagas are usually several times longer then an anthro is tall, and snakes have a -lot- of body strength, which is why they can lift almost all their body off the ground or their perch/hiding spot and not lose grip or fall over.

Good points. I would be for retrieving the sword after a dodge to the left, but I can't tell if we will get enough time to pick it up and be ready for Java's next move.
Though to be honest, any weapons' effectiveness might be hindered if we have to keep our sight from Java's face. With that said, getting either the dagger or sword is way better than trying to grab the tail and eat it from what other folks are saying, even grabbing darts would be better than trying to eat the naga's tail when we've a bruised rib and this is a being that is packing heavier mass and muscle strength than Tanya is.

okay, that snake has some long reach, and we're disarmed at the moment. the logical move would be to get some distance, then either switch to darts and start throwing them, hork up the snake and hurl it at the bigger snake, or equip the dagger. either way, staying in range of that tail is bad news, and gives the serpent time for the rest of the body to wheel around and attack us from another angle
I would like to see Tanya eat the incoming tail but 1.since the earlier encounter with Kuva and the net showed that "rule of cool" does not work here 2.and even if Tanya does manage to get a good portion of the tail down her throat Java could still constrict her with the rest 3.not to mention Javas hands would be free to attack Tanya 4 and from the looks of it the Tail is coming from the side so it might be hard to catch the tip in her mouth. 5. If it turns out Java ate the kids your looking for it will be next to impossible to retrieve them from two stomachs in time unless Tanya eating her has the effect of squeezing them out like a tube of toothpaste. I'm guessing if Tanya is to succeed in eating Java it will either have to be from the head or Java would have to be at least slightly disoriented.
On the other hand a carnivorous rabbit is something Java probably wouldn't see coming so it's not impossible especially since 1.at leat one of Java's hands was occupied with Kuva and that would give Tanya a moment to eat more of the tail, 2.Jabaro is close by and able to help if he catches up and if we have immobilized the tail With Tanya's mouth it would severely limit Java's mobility and from what we've seen so far way for attacking,3. From the slightly misty look at her earlier she doesn't seem to have any weapon's on her so I'm guessing her tail is her primary way of attacking bedsides whatever the mist is.
Overall I'm still hoping no matter how this turns out that Tanya ends up eating Java, so if there is a chance of it actually working I hope it does, if not I suggest keep dodging and jumping while getting the knife out but most of all remember Java took down Kuva and from the looks of it fairly easily so try not to act like Kuva and use all of the advantages being a rabbit compared to being a cheetah namely while cheetah's are faster that's mainly in the sense of running something down while rabbits tend to be more on the agile side of things.
Lastly sorry about the wall of text.

Also keep the dart's a secret for several reasons 1.if we poison her we might not be able to eat her and 2. If Java somehow manages to eat Tanya it would make a way to fight back from the inside because while Java would be careful to get disarming her of the knife before eating her the dart's in the pouch may not be identified as a threat.3 Dart's are not designed as melee weapons plus Tanya has no experience using them as such. 4 the lower sections of the tail is probably fairly tough hide wise and even if the dart's does go in the tail it would probably be considered as much of as an extremitie as possible so it might take a while to kick in if it even does, I'd say either hit her from the torso up or from the inside. 5.the tail is coming back right away for another swing and what are the odds that Tanya can get a dart out of the bag fast enough to use it without stabbing herself with it. 6. Even if Tanya can get a dart out and hit the tail with it the tail would still be coming towards her head quite quickly which as shown earlier hitting moving object with something doesn't stop its momentum. 7 dart's are often ment to be fired or launched from something so just throwing them might not have enough force to penetrate deep enough.
I am not sure we can eat the tail now considering it is coming right at us and just knocked the sword out of the way. Dodge to the left side and get ready with the dagger, we can't possibly use the darts effective as they require us to look at Java and that could be dangerous for us if we see her face and we might hit Kuva by accident. Maybe we can use that snake in the stomach for distracting her momentarily.
But whatever we do, don't look at her face at all costs. Keep our eyes on her lower body unless just in case she can actually paralyse us through eye contact. Also, maybe call out for Jabaro.

I agree with humbug really. Seeing Tanya cough up a snake might demoralize Java as much as it did Jabaro seeing her eat it. Plus, as Humbug said, the weight is a big disadvantage along with that bulge taking away some of her flexibility. So i do vote for dodging to the left, heaving the snake up at Java then attempting to recover our sword and attack low.
Well... if Tanya had not eaten the snake, she could have used the snake as leverage to get Kuva back, especially if the snake was one of Java's children, or something.
Still, maybe if the snake is still alive inside Tanya, she could still make a deal. I don't think we're avoiding a fight here.
Anyhow, I am with those who say roll left towards the sword (even though you cannot see it), and yell to Jabaro to be ready for attack.
